UNITY — Voters largely favored incumbents during Tuesday’s Australian ballot voting, delivering victories for Selectboard member Bill Schroeter and Town Clerk Rosemary Heino.
Schroeter received 125 votes to defeat challenger Debra Leahy, who won 71 votes. Meanwhile, Heino garnered 142 voters over Jamie Callum’s 56 votes.
On the school ballot, Rocco Ruggeri won 104 votes to defeat Kelly Simpson’s 72 for a three-year seat on the School Board. John Dempsey, who ran unopposed for a one-year term on the board got 147 votes.
