WHITE RIVER JUNCTION โ A modular home manufactured by Preferred Building Systems in Claremont was delivered in two parts to an Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity site on Nutt Lane in White River Junction last Thursday.
The home, Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity’s first modular build, is expected to be move-in ready in summer 2026.

Modular homes can be completed faster than traditional stick builds, but are more expensive for the nonprofit because construction labor is paid rather than volunteer, and executive director Ashley Andreas said the organization plans to make use of both options going forward.
